GROZDA
Founder and Owner of Yoga of True Nature
My name is Grozda, and I am an experienced E-RYT 500 Hatha yoga teacher, meditation teacher, prenatal yoga teacher RPYT, facial yoga teacher, and children’s yoga teacher. For the past 20 years, I have been leading Yoga of True Nature, sharing my knowledge through personal practice, one-to-one work, group classes, and teacher training programs.
My journey with yoga began as a personal exploration that, over the years, took me far beyond the physical practice. I spent my youth travelling around the world, while also deepening my knowledge through studying with various spiritual teachers. Yoga gradually became a way of life for me - a way of exploring the human being through the body, mind, breath, emotions, and inner world.
For me, the essence of yoga comes above all from personal experience. The knowledge I have gained through decades of practice is something I want to pass on in a way that is accessible, safe, and relevant to everyday life. I strive to create a space where people can reconnect with themselves, develop inner strength, and become more consciously aware of their bodies and their lives.
KNOWLEDGE THAT CONTINUES TO DEEPEN
Although I have been teaching yoga for many years, my journey of learning never ends. I continue to expand my knowledge through seminars, trainings, and teacher education programs both locally and internationally, studying with experienced yoga teachers and masters.
I hold a Master’s degree in Business Administration and am currently studying physiotherapy. I continually integrate my many years of yoga experience with new knowledge in anatomy, physiology, movement, and a holistic understanding of the human being.
I am an experienced, certified, and registered Hatha yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance (E-RYT 500) and hold one of the highest teaching designations within the Yoga Alliance registration system. For many years, I have also led yoga teacher training programs, supporting numerous students on their journey to becoming yoga teachers. My additional professional qualifications include: certified and registered prenatal yoga teacher (RPYT) with Yoga Alliance, certified and registered children’s and family yoga teacher with Rainbow Kids Yoga Australia, facial yoga teacher and director of facial yoga training programs, meditation teacher, basic training in Montessori pedagogy, TA 101 – Transactional Analysis, USUI Reiki Level 1 and 2.
TEACHING AND EDUCATION
A special place in my work is dedicated to yoga teacher training. I lead 300- and 500-hour teacher training programs, as well as specialized trainings in prenatal yoga and facial yoga.
When educating future teachers, it is not important to me only how many techniques they know, but above all whether they truly understand yoga.
I teach them how to connect their personal practice with anatomy, yoga philosophy, breath, the nervous system, teaching methodology, and the responsibility that comes with working with people.
PREGNANCY, ANXIETY AND INDIVIDUAL WORK
One of the special areas of my work is prenatal yoga and birth preparation, where I combine many years of experience with in-depth knowledge of prenatal yoga, anatomy, breathing, relaxation, and preparing the body and mind for birth.
I also dedicate much of my work to people experiencing anxiety, stress, anxiety disorders, and inner tension. I have personally experienced anxiety, so I do not understand this area only from a theoretical perspective. I understand how important it is for a person going through such an experience to feel heard, understood, and accepted.
In one-to-one sessions, I adapt physical, breathing, and meditation techniques to the individual — to their body, previous experience, mobility, wellbeing, and current needs.
MY MISSION
Through yoga, asana, pranayama, meditation, and a deeper understanding of the body, I want to offer people something that goes beyond physical exercise.
I want people to reconnect with themselves. To understand their bodies more deeply. To feel their inner strength. And to discover that it is possible to live with greater awareness, peace, and trust in oneself.
My journey with yoga is still unfolding. I continue to explore, learn, and grow — and it is this knowledge and experience that I want to share with others today.
