PRENATAL YOGA
We are the only yoga school in Slovenia with an international license (Yoga Alliance) for teaching courses for pregnant women. Yoga for pregnant women has been held for the 20th years. I have already been trusted by hundreds of pregnant women and mothers who have all given birth successfully and healthy, mostly naturally, which I believe is the result of good preparation and regular practice of yoga during pregnancy. You can join prenatal yoga after 12. weeks of pregnancy.
Childbirth is a unique experience that happens only a few times in a lifetime, so I have prepared for you a program that follows the week of pregnancy and the most professional yoga practice, based on years of experience working with pregnant women. In order for you to be well prepared for this divine moment, you are invited to exercise or yoga for pregnant women, where we strengthen the body and pelvic floor, learn to breathe correctly during childbirth, practice pranayama breathing techniques, meditate and relax, and prepare for childbirth.
WHEN TO START YOGA AFTER CHILDBIRTH?
After giving birth, you can continue with the yoga class for 6-8 weeks after vaginal birth, but if you had a caesarean section, the period in which you can join is a bit longer and depends on each individual, in which case it is best to consult your gynecologist.
