300-HOUR YOGA TEACHER TRAINING COURSE
Starting January 10, 2027
ABOUT THE TRAINING
The 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training Course is intended for anyone who wishes to understand yoga on a deeper level – not merely as a physical practice, but as a holistic path that connects the body, breath, mind, philosophy, and inner exploration. During the training, we will explore the traditional foundations of yoga, its philosophy and history, and connect them with a modern understanding of the human body, anatomy, physiology, movement, and the nervous system.
A significant part of the program is also dedicated to personal practice. I believe that a yoga teacher first grows through their own experience – through observing the body, breath, mind, and inner patterns. Special emphasis is placed on safe and high-quality teaching. You will learn how to structure and lead yoga classes, adapt the practice to different individuals, use props, and understand when a particular asana needs to be modified or omitted.
I also combine my knowledge of yoga with my studies in physiotherapy, which is why an important part of the training is dedicated to understanding the body and movement. The goal is not to memorize as much information as possible, but to begin truly understanding the body.
YOGA, THE BODY & KNOWLEDGE
In my work, I combine many years of experience in yoga with a deep interest in anatomy, physiology, and the functioning of the human body. I am currently studying physiotherapy, so I continuously expand my knowledge of the body, movement, and anatomy and connect it with the practice of yoga. I believe that a good yoga teacher needs to understand more than simply how to perform an asana correctly. It is important to understand how the body moves, how we breathe, how the nervous system responds, how to adapt the practice to the individual, and how to create a safe environment for someone who entrusts their body to us. At the same time, traditional yoga knowledge remains at the heart of the training – its philosophy, practice, meditation, and inner dimension.
WHAT WILL WE EXPLORE?
ASANAS AND PERSONAL PRACTICE
We will explore different asanas, their variations, correct and safe execution, the use of props, and ways of creating a meaningful and well-structured practice from individual postures. A strong emphasis will also be placed on your own personal practice.
PRANAYAMA AND YOGIC TECHNIQUES
We will explore different pranayama techniques, breathwork, kumbhaka, bandhas, mudras, and traditional yogic practices. We will examine their meaning within the yoga tradition as well as their practical application.
PHILOSOPHY & HISTORY OF YOGA
We will delve into the history of yoga and its various paths and schools. We will explore the Yoga Sutras, yamas and niyamas, Hatha Yoga, different yogic paths, Tantra, the concept of the guru, ancient yoga teachers, the development of the yogic tradition, the philosophy of yoga, and its fundamental principles.
MANTRA YOGA
We will explore the meaning of mantra within the yoga tradition and learn the basics of mantra chanting.
MEDITATION & YOGA NIDRA
Since the goal of yoga practice goes far beyond the physical posture itself, an important part of the training is dedicated to meditation. We will explore different approaches to meditation as well as Yoga Nidra. We will also investigate the connection between the body, breath, attention, and mind.
ANATOMY, PHYSIOLOGY AND MOVEMENT
An important part of the training is developing an understanding of the human body. We will explore the basics of anatomy and physiology and connect them with the practice of yoga postures. We will explore: movement of the body, basic anatomy, the function of different bodily structures, common musculoskeletal issues, adapting yoga practice, safe execution of asanas, the use of props, limitations and modifications for different physical conditions.
Guest professionals may also contribute to specific topics within the training.
THE NERVOUS SYSTEM, BODY & MIND
A special part of the program is dedicated to understanding the nervous system and the connection between body and mind. We will explore the basic functioning of the nervous system and investigate how the body, breath, attention, and inner experience are interconnected. We will also touch upon topics such as: stress, psychosomatic responses, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, burnout, nervous system function, the vagus nerve, the connection between the body and psychological experience Throughout the training, we will clearly distinguish between the field of yoga practice and professional healthcare.
The goal of a yoga teacher is not to become a therapist or doctor, but to understand the limits of their role, teach responsibly, and recognize when an individual should be referred to an appropriate healthcare professional.
SUBTLE ANATOMY
We will also explore the traditional understanding of the subtle body.
Topics will include: chakras, nadis, tattvas, prana, subtle anatomy, the traditional understanding of energy, the relationship between subtle anatomy and the philosophy of yoga.
AYURVEDA & EASTERN TRADITIONS
We will explore the foundations of Ayurveda and various aspects of Eastern traditions connected with yoga and a holistic understanding of the human being.
Guest teachers and experts in these fields may also contribute to the program.
DIFFERENT STYLES OF YOGA
Yoga has many faces. As part of the training, we will explore and experience different approaches and styles of yoga practice, including: Hatha Yoga, Iyengar Yoga, Acro Yoga, Aerial Yoga, Face Yoga, and other approaches The aim is not to choose the “best” style, but to understand the breadth of yoga practice and the different ways in which it can be expressed.
PRENATAL YOGA AND FACE YOGA
As part of the 300-hour program, we will also explore the foundations of prenatal yoga and face yoga.
THE ART OF TEACHING
Knowing yoga does not automatically mean knowing how to teach it. That is why an important part of the training is dedicated to teaching methodology. We will learn: how to structure a high-quality yoga class, how to lead a group, how to give clear instructions, how to use voice and language effectively, how to use props, how to modify asanas, how to observe participants, how to create a safe environment, how to respond to different individual needs, how to develop your own teaching style.
OVERCOMING STAGE FRIGHT AND PUBLIC SPEAKING
For many people, stepping in front of a group for the first time is the greatest challenge. We will therefore also focus on stage fright, confidence, and public speaking. Through practical work, you will gradually gain experience in leading yoga practices and learn to trust your own voice, knowledge, and presence. The goal is for you to be able to stand in front of a group with confidence.
ETHICS OF A YOGA TEACHER
We will also explore ethics, the responsibility of a teacher, and what it means to teach yoga consciously.
Topics will include: the relationship between teacher and student, the teacher’s responsibility, the limits of the teacher’s knowledge, respect for the individual, safety in teaching, yoga as a way of life, developing your own path as a yoga teacher
